Smashbox Haul + FOTD

The past Sunday we made it to Lisa's Cosmetic 2011 Christmas Warehouse Sale at around 2pm. The first surprise was the long lineup~ Second was the fact that all these women tried to bring their kids and crying babies inside the warehouse even though the flyer states that "No strollers or children under 12" were allowed... anyways, here's some pictures~ Enjoy!
the 1.5 hour lineup at Lisa's Cosmetic Warehouse sale
The haul: I got a few hair products by Schwarzkopf (all hair masks + hair gum), a brush (2.99), and a hair conditioner by Joico ($7.99). The rest are makeup from Smashbox and a blush by Canadian brand Marcelle :)

Marcelle Multi-Colour Powder Blush($2.49). This was a promotion in support of the Because I am a Girl campaign. 50 cents per product is donated in support of the Jenn Heil challenge. I only found out about this after googling up the product...
Smashbox Photo Finish in Light ($6.99). This product was recommended to me by my friend whom I share the same skin type, it is a foundation primer that is oil-free! (Always looking for these two words in my face products now!)
Smashbox Function 5 Powder Foundation in Light (L1 -L2), for $11.50 it was too good a price to pass and I found it in the perfect shade for my NW20 skin (note that my face is much lighter than my hands)
And here is my FOTD featuring the Smashbox foundation :)
FOTD: Nov 22/11
Eyes:
I filled in my brows with Smashbox Brow Tech in Brunette, and highlighted the browbone with the Anastasia Go-Brow highliter
Used the Too Faced Shadow Insurance all over the eyelid, then lined my upper lashline with UD gunmetal e/s
To conceal my dark eye circles I lightly patted the Benefit Erase Paste under my eyes and set it with a translucent powder by Revlon.
I curled my lashes with shu uemera eyelash curler and then applied Maybelline Great Lash mascara~
Face:
I applied Smashbox Function 5 foundation on with my ELF powder brush and as you can see, it gives a medium coverage, some of my blemishes are visible, while some are concealed.
I used MAC blush in Improvise and Pretty Baby beauty powder on my cheeks.
Lips:
I have eos lipbalm in sweet mint and YSL lip gloss in vanilla pink :)

  1. Great haul! When did you go to Lisa's Cosmetics? I went on Monday and I still had to wait ~40min in line. =|

  2. I am in disbelief that there's a lineup on a Monday! But... I'm planning to go back again~ I didn't get the Issey Miyake perfume and have been kicking myself~ I went last Sunday!
