This creamy gloss is described as a peach sorbet, which goes on quite bright when applied on bare or dull looking lips. On days I'm too lazy to apply much colours, ie blush and bronzer (which is most days...) I find that this help to instantly brighten my face and make me look more awake/alive. This product is actually quite moisturizing and feels lovely on. It's lasting power is decent, as long as I don't constantly sip my coffee in the morning, reapplication is pretty minimal. I love this especially for the fact that it is non-sticky and not overly shiny since some glosses have that 'greasy' looking effect. When you first apply this, there is the initial tingling sensation, which goes away around the same time the 'plumping' effect wears off.
Creamsicle was purchased on a whim... and I have been hopelessly hooked ever since! However, due to my lips acting up to Fresh's Sugar lip treatment (has beeswax as first ingredient) I had a severe reaction that took me nearly 20 days to heal... in any case, I'm glad my lips are finally back to normal and I can take pictures of this wonderful product on my lips. Now onto some pictures!

with flashOverall Rating ***** / 5 (1 = worst 5 = best) I really enjoy this and I'm looking forward to trying other colours which this formula!
swatched on the back of my hand, no flash
I also find that this gloss is great layered over a darker lip colour, this will 'brighten' the colour for a more daytime look. I tried this over Clinique's A Different Grape and really liked the colour, you should do some experimenting too!!

I got my Ipsy bag quite early this month, but I had been a tad too lazy to post up my pictures, so here's a few I took~ This month's theme was Beach Beauty~
- POP Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in Coral Crush (I wish I can use this, but I found out it has beeswax in it... so gotta give it away~!)
- BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow sample (I still have not yet opened the packaging)
- Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray Conditioning & Texturizing Spray (promptly given to the wonderful Moose, cuz she can rock waves better than me and would get more joy out of it than me)
- Coola Mineral Face SPF 20 Rose Essence Tinted Moisturizer (so looking forward to using, although I want to finish the samples I'm working on now first before opening this)
|Coral Crush looks so lovely from just looking at the colour, unfortunately, I won't be able to use this product.|
|a not even full bag|
Random fact: This past two weeks, I've actually been busy hunting down the McDonald's Despicable Me 2 minions... and alas, we succeeded in finding the last one last Monday ^_^ Here they are fighting over bananas!~

I know that bright toes have been in for a while and that I'm late to jump into the wagon, but hey! better late than never~ Recently, inspired to do bright toes by Moose who was inspired by D from OneCraftyFox, I followed suite... It was quite the leap for me since I tend to go neutral or dark but I'm glad I did it. Every time I looked at them, I smile. It is such a cheerful colour and really brightens my day.
Sporting Deborah Lippmann Daytripper Nail Lacquer on my toes :)
When I first saw this in my Holt Renfrew beauty bag, I wasn't sure if I was going to ever wear it. Now I am glad to have this in my collection. What colours are you wearing on your toes?! :)
I broke my no-buy pledge this month because of the awesome point redemption promo at Shoppers Drug Mart this weekend... for 40,000 points you can redeem up to $90 worth of stuff or, the next tier which is 80,000 points for $200... I had been saving my points for this so I had to go redeem them! And this was what I came home with (along with a few samples I got from Sephora...) Moose and I had a makeover, and we basically bought every product Davis (the Bourjois MUA) put on us... He was amazing :) Here's the haul for a little over $29 CAD ^_^
SDM rep also gave us a few samples, which was super sweet of her!
I picked up two Bourjois Color Boost Glossy Finish Lipstick in 04 Peach on the Beach and 03 Orange Punch. 4 colours were launched but I only saw 3 of them at SDM.
Davis applied this on my face and I was in love~~ Previously, I've tried the Bourjois Healthy Mix serum gel foundation and disliked how it looked on my skin, so imagine my surprise when this looked so awesome on me this time around. The Bourjois 10hr Sleep Effect foundation is a light /liquidy foundation that provides a medium coverage that is buildable. It looked and felt so lovely and light. I was shocked. I knew that I have been sleep deprived last week so the beautiful result made me have to own it, instantly.
This was applied on my crease and looked quite lovely, but as my husband pointed out, I looked like I was done up... perhaps a tad too much? It's not usually something I'd do, so I'm not sure if I will be keeping this. I also have way too many brown glittery eyeshadows...
This Bourjois Duochrome eye pencil in 59 violet rose added a lovely accent when applied just above my black eyeliner...
I can't justify why I had purchased both of these mascaras... I was curious... I loved the effect the Volumizer mascara had on Moose... The Volume Clubbing mascara is suppose to be sweat proof, so... yeah... that's why they were in my checkout bag... *shifty eyes* Let's test these babies out!!
The last product that I purchased, was one that I've lusted over for a while now... It is the Guerlain Météorites compact in 03 Teinte Doré. I'm still unsure about the shade that I got, but I have wanted to get this product for a long while now and finally I got my hands on them! buhahahha!! It blended easily and it took out some shine that my foundation did not.

Since my last shopping 'splurge,' I've decided that July should be my month of strict makeup/beauty no-buy month... This was not motivated by guilt, as I am super happy with my purchases and do not regret buying, I am however, saving the money for my trip next month. :)
In the main time, I decided to shop my stash this month since I know I have plenty of items that could use some loving~ another thing I will be doing is simply writing down the list of products I lust for and research the crap out of them~ Read reviews and make notes... maybe that would discouraging me from wanting some much raved about products ;)
What's your tip on convincing yourself you don't need to buy new products? please share with this shop-a-holic!
