Hautelook haul from 2011 (Stila, UD and the Balm)

Before I knew I was going to put a limit on my makeup shopping (of course...), I made all these purchases on Hautelook~ None were things I really needed, but the price were too good to resist... so here goes!

From UD I got the Cowboy Junkie set ($24) and two 24-7 glide-on eye pencil in Dime and Baked ($2 each).

From the Balm, I got blushes in Down boy and Cabana boy ($10.50 each)~

And finally during the Stila sale, I got the Artist palette ($10), an eyeshadow pan in 14 karat ($7), and two smudgestick eyeliner in Koi and Silver Dollar ($8 each)~

was extremely excited to get this so that I can add to my Unii palette :)

When I saw this palette I knew it had to be depotted... first off, I could not close the cardboard flap thing after I took it out. Second the gaps between the palettes really bothered me... and so... this happened.

I'm so happy that I am getting use out of the Unii palettes ^_^

Original Penguin FAIL

The first time I order something on Hautelook.com that is NOT cosmetic and there is a problem :( Order was placed on the 6th and on the 15th I was informed that I won't be getting them. The worst part is, they are part of my fiancé's Christmas gift :( At least Hautelook reimbursed me the money and gave me a credit. *sigh*

Mini UD Haul from Hautelook~

I've been MIA from my MU blog for a while... I got busy >.< so... here's a quick post about a recent haul I placed with Hautelook, enjoy!

I placed this order before I was engaged... maybe I knew that it was coming ^_^ I'm psychotic! I mean... psychic! Anyhow, I bought the UD Urban Bride set, as well as some UD cream eyeshadows and liquid liners... The subtotal came to 60$, which I thought was a bargain for so much UD products~ Now onto some pictures (swatches to come later!):

Hautelook order: blinc + Pixi & Pop

I'm a compulsive (and emotional) shopper... Here's my damage from Hautelook. 2 separate sales, arrived 1 day apart :)

From blinc, I got:

• resurf.a.stic Face 
• mascara - Black
• heated lash curler
• blinc long lash

I have yet to try these products, so no comments! (minus the mascara, I've used it before and liked it) 

Pixi & Pop

ugh... I just want to say, that the packaging for 'Pop Beauty' palette are mostly bulky and cheap looking (especially the Pop Eye Class)... They looked better in pictures. I was not a big fan of them... on one of the palettes there were gaps between the pans O.o... 

On the other hand, I really liked the cute packaging of the Pixi Eye Beauty Kit, I got this set in Mermaid. This palette is compact and simple. I'm really looking forward to wearing the beautiful turquoise colours. 

NYX sale on Hautelook ^_^

Woahh!!! NYX Sale on Hautelook this coming Friday :) so excited... I hope they have the Jumbo eye pencils!!!

First Hautelook order: Urban Decay + swatches

It finally arrived!!

I was so excited to get my Urban Decay shadows from Hautelook!! There is just something so exciting about unboxing a package (kind of like Christmas presents, but it can happen all year around.) It's funny how even though I knew what I ordered, I was still surprised when I saw them. Soooo pretty and for less than $8 each.... Anyways... Here's my haul!

I decided to try UD's Cream eyeshadow and also a few of the singles eyeshadows:
