NOTD: with nail stamps!

My fiancé helped me applied these seahorses on my ring fingers. Did he do a good job? You can see the purple nail stamp tool in the background.

Nail polish used: Essie pink-a-boo, RGB oxblood and Essie blanc

I have been feeling extremely girly lately, hence the pink on pink. :) The two colours used are Ms. Perfectly Pink and Pink-a-boo finished off with a little nail art sticker that I purchased from Dollarama some time ago (I finally got around to using.) What do you think? Does the one nail stand out too much? My little cousin did the opposite where the majority of her nails are a deep green and the single finger was a matte mint with black nail art on it :) Are pictures needed? Let me know what you think~

Went shopping for shoes with Roni the other day... ended up at Dollarama and found these for a buck each! Cannot wait to try them out with the girls!

Water Marble Nail Art

Last night we tried this extremely cool marble nail art! Of the 8 fingers I did... Only 2 (and half) was successful! Nonetheless, it is very pretty!!

At first, it was difficult and I made some 'cow' pattern because I keep putting drops of nail polish everywhere, but eventually I got the 'bulls-eye' perfected... it was fun :)

Roni was a natural at this... 

I... was not as successful...

...but we learn through our failures :)

Here's some tips for those who wants to try this out...

- put tape around your nails!! it makes a big mess if you don't (I learned it the hard way)

- test out each nail polish to see if it will spread in water

- leave the bottles open so that you can quickly and easily get each drop

- MUST apply a base colour (we found that the color is less vibrant and in some cases there are gaps where the nail polish did not spread to)
- top coat is an essential last step (preferably a quick dry!)

- use a toothpick to remove excess nail polish before you take your finger out of the water

- lastly... patience!

Newspaper nails!

I saw this vid by cutepolish on YT so I decided to give it a try... Problem is I am very impatient and didn't paint my nails properly, also, I failed to let the polish dry completely before applying the newspaper print to nail... so... I will be redoing it... in the main time, check out my first attempt! :D
