Hautelook order: blinc + Pixi & Pop

I'm a compulsive (and emotional) shopper... Here's my damage from Hautelook. 2 separate sales, arrived 1 day apart :)

From blinc, I got:

• resurf.a.stic Face 
• mascara - Black
• heated lash curler
• blinc long lash

I have yet to try these products, so no comments! (minus the mascara, I've used it before and liked it) 

Pixi & Pop

ugh... I just want to say, that the packaging for 'Pop Beauty' palette are mostly bulky and cheap looking (especially the Pop Eye Class)... They looked better in pictures. I was not a big fan of them... on one of the palettes there were gaps between the pans O.o... 

On the other hand, I really liked the cute packaging of the Pixi Eye Beauty Kit, I got this set in Mermaid. This palette is compact and simple. I'm really looking forward to wearing the beautiful turquoise colours. 

NOTD: Mint Sorbet

I really LOVE this colour :) Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Mint Sortbet!! <3 I love this minty colour!

Please excuse my messiness, I don't paint my nails very well... and I usually let it clean up itself... haha... currently the edge look better (it's been 4 days!!)

FOTD - July 13, 2011

I've recently joined Makeuptalk forum and I've been wanting to do a FOTD on it... and since I just got my Hautelook parcel, I thought it was appropriate to make one of the palettes my feature item :) Enjoy!

Face: 
Revlon Beyond Natural Concealer and Highlighter in Light (used both to conceal imperfections and highlight brow bone)

Bare Minerals Foundation SPF 15 in Medium

E.L.F. Studio Blush in Pink Passion <-- this is a really bright pink, I had to use a gentle hand when applying and used the micro pink to tone it down... 

MAC Micro Pink ( I actually put this over my entire face to set everything in and give my face the slight pinkish look)

Eyes: 

E.L.F. lid primer in Sheer

Pop Beauty - Pretty Puzzle - Smoked out Silver --> mainly the purple and indigo from the palette (plus some silver + peach on inner corner)

Wet n Wild Gel Liner in 887 Eggplant

Blinc - Kiss me Mascara - Black

Anastasia Go Brow

Revlon Brow Styling Gel

Lips:

L'Oreal - Shine Delice Lipstick in Pink Lemonade #112

Sephora - Super Shimmer Lipgloss in Precious Pink

Woahh!!! NYX Sale on Hautelook this coming Friday :) so excited... I hope they have the Jumbo eye pencils!!!

EOTD: July 9th, 2011 - Blue

I really like to play with colours, but it seems I still need to work on my blending... I always feel rushed to do my makeup and the colours look separated... What do you think?
