Tackle box as makeup storage!

Let me introduce you to my new makeup storage. Voila a tackle box used for beauty purpose!

I've been hunting for a perfect organizer to compact my precious makeup collection and finally found this in the fishing aisle. 


The drawer is 16.5" x 12.0" x 16.0" which is a good size for my 'desk.' It contains 4 stowaway utility boxes, 1 big storage area on the top and a small top-access storage area on the lid. 


Here's how I organized the stowaway boxes...

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Mellow Yellow 

I opted to try this yellow with a black crackle tip. It is summer time and I don't want to be so dark. What do you think about this style?

The SH Xtreme Wear is on sale at Shopper's for $2.50 so I decided to pick it up, try and stock up if I like them... It's not too bad, so I think I might go back to pick up some more colours :| the Mint Sorbet looked cute! I think the sale ends tomorrow...

Update: After all my recent splurges I decided against buying the 32 items in my shopping bag... It was fun while I browsed through the [extremely] slow website and added things to my shopping bag... the total after the discount and the shipping was $34.95... ahhh... what a steal...

Nail art - Dollar store bargains

Went shopping for shoes with Roni the other day... ended up at Dollarama and found these for a buck each! Cannot wait to try them out with the girls!
